Hugo Le Clech and Arthur Meurissetwo young skippers, only met this summer!
After a season of sailing on the Tour de France under sail, which enabled them to meet, they crossed the finish line together in first placethe Thursday 29 August in Gijón, Spain, at the Paprec Challenge.
This victory highlights the talent of these young sailorsbecause this the prestigious Paprec Challenge is the first leg of the famous Solitaire du Figarolinking Rouen to Gijónwhich they produced with a remarkable total time 3 days, 22 hours, 9 minutes and 44 seconds.
The Paprec Challenge offers young sailors a chance to get involved and get noticed.
Congratulations to both of you! We are very proud of to have welcomed them to our magnificent, recently renovated Mercure Rouen Champ de Marson the eve of this exceptional challenge, which has been brilliantly met!
